Further Support and Feedback

Types of Support

The Web Unit can generally assist with the following types of support:

  • setting up a new website;
  • applying for the CMS template;
  • technical support;
  • in-person training on how to operate the website;
  • configuration of the websites structure and functions (within certain parameters);
  • support for the publications system (see: http://archive.ceu.edu/pubsguide)

In addition to the above, occasional general training sessions are offered to the CEU community, usually several times per semester, according to demand.

Gábor Ács, E-learning assistant in the CEU Computer and Statistics Center, is also available for occasional web training (both Drupal and E-learning)


Tips for Increasing Support Effectiveness 

Your questions can often be answered by first consulting the section on "working with content". Check that section to begin with. If you still have questions, contact us at first by email. IMPORTANT: When you write, be sure to include as much information as possible, for example:


  • any relevant page links
  • what browser you are using
  • screen shots
  • whether you are checking the website while logged in, or out


The more information you convey to us, the quicker we can process your request.
